This is one of the beach accesses on Bald Head Island NC. The Cape Fear river is in the distance and the sailboats are headed out to sea. The sun is coming up and it's going to be another perfect day in paradise.

Every summer on Nantucket the little catboats sail all over the harbor with their colorful sails. It's a wonderful sign of summer in Nantucket

IN THE HARBOR

This wonderful boat is at anchor in the harbor. You can see the reflection of the bulkhead in the water. All About Art will be offering this painting along with my other paintings as they get ready to open for the summer season on Bald Head Island NC. It is 30x40" unframed gallery wrapped

FROOT LOOPS

When our children were little we had a Boston Whaler and our son Eric named it after his favorite cereal so I decided to name this red dinghy Froot Loops because it was such a happy memory of Summer's past. This painting is 36x36 and is at All About Art on Bald Head Island NC

LATE AFTERNOON ACCESS #8

When my husband and I head out to fish on the Cape Fear River we often use this beach access on Bald Head Island. I have just delivered this to All About Art on Bald Head .

SEEING DOUBLE

" Seeing Double " is a large painting 36" x 36". It was inspired by a photograph of two boats at their moorings on a windless day. It was a very tranquil moment and I hope you will feel the same tranquility while enjoying the painting.

A SPECIAL COMMISSION OF MELVILLE DAIRY

A very special friend asked for a painting of the old Melville Dairy plant. He had an old black and white photo. He mentioned the ice cream cones that are now almost covered up with the tanks on the front of the building. I went to see the plant and there were the ice cream cones, barely visible. Such a fun find that I would never have seen had it not been for the special request and an old photo for reference.

EDDY'S DOOR

A commission for a client in the UK. The doors at Eddy's open up to the garden of their favorite restaurant in St.Barth. The painting now hangs in their home in the Cotswolds . A special memory of their special place

PAINTING CHOSEN FOR NEW CANCER CENTER

This painting titled "Hope" was selected to hang in the new Cancer Center at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington N.C.
