New Season New Paintings

I have been getting ready for a new season at All About Art on Bald Head Island, NC. I thought you might be interested in the steps I go through to create a painting.

    First I paint the background, then lay out the painting in chalk for size and placement. Chalk is easy to wipe off until I get exactly what I am planning to paint. Then I can start outlining and finishing all the detail work.
